Oakbark color Made in ENGLAND 17" Pessoa A/O (Amateur Owner)Wide "Spring tree" saddle. It has a wide channel down the center and the pannels are wider than most saddles (appear to be wool flocked but don't know for sure). Also has self-padded flaps (smooth leather) with concealed pencil knee rolls, I think it also has a calfskin seat that is 10" wide (wider than most saddles and VERY comfortable). It fit most of the school horses that I used to ride but the flaps are too long for me so my husband bought me a custom saddle for my 8yo and I a few years ago. I kept this one in the house during that time hoping my 5yo could use it, but she is too narrow so I need yet another saddle for her, therefore I have to sell this one to buy the next. It is in great shape and was bought many years ago when Pessoa's were built in England and were built to last forever (unlike now) but was not used that much as I saved it just for shows and then was stored at the house. Now the "cheeper version" are still around $2000 new. It is becomming harder to find a nice used English made one. The man at the A show told me he would consign it for $1500 but I don't want to pay the commission and I need to sell it fast. I am asking $1100 or best offer. It comes with original pessoa saddle cover and billet guards. I never put a saddle plate on it so I doesn't even have holes in the back. I love this saddle and hate to sell it but it doesn't fit my short legs or my baby. I will try to post pictures today or tomorrow.
*******Boots for Sale!! Most are brand new!
1) Der's (now called Der Dau). Made in New York. Brand new with original box! Just tried on and did not fit. Kept too long to return to store. My loss is your gain. Nice Tall black Field boots with NO zippers and NO punched toe cap. Does have the expensive Ripple soles, cuff lined, spur rest, & swagger tabs. Inside reads "5S (hand written) Der's Cusom made Boots & Shoes Inc, Booklyn, NY (on tag) R.F.430 (hand written". I think they are a size 5, I can get measurements and pictures if you wish. Box has the sticker with phone number (718)336-4513. The web site is now www.derdau.com if you want info. I think these boots now start at $600 and go well over $1000. Am asking $300, Great Deal! 1/2 off brand new boots. Can post pictures later
2) Effingham "Schooler" Boot made by Bond Boot Comp USA, style # 6000L Brand new in box. Really cool! These are size 5 1/2 and have zippers up the front of the boot (from top to bottom of where laces would end if they were field boots) but they were too tall for me and I planned on getting them shortened but never got around to it. Have not seen any like these before. Would be great for dressage or eventing to show in or could school in them. These too have the expensive ripple sole, spur rest, NO swagger tab, really soft leather, & more of a "spanish" topline. This company I think has gone out of business so hard to find out how much these are new (in fact I cannot even find a pair of these for sale). I have seen prices all over so I will take $150 or best offer. I figure any new pair of boots of decent quality would be worth $150.
Have some more so will try to dig them out of the closet and add to this add. I can take any measurements you want and take pictures as well. Thanks for looking.
Selling lots of hunter and western tack! Cleaning out trailer/house/tack box to try to get money to pay for a saddle for my 5yo baby.
1) M. Toulouse 52" leather "anatomical" girth. Dark cognac color, padded inside with 3 training rings (one on each side and one in the middle). Elastic on both sides with roller buckles, only used ~3 times to show in before my "tubby" 8yo guy lost weight (now in 48"!-hard work but we did it) and my 5 yo will NEVER be close to this size. It is in great shape but has some surface pitting on some of the "training rings" but buckles are perfect and the triple elastic is not even stretched, just a hair "dirty" from the saddle flap against it. All stitching is still white. I am just mentioning any slight imperfections so you know everything. I paid around $125 (smartpak has for $127 now) so I would like $80 or best offer.
2) Crump london colored smooth leather 50" contoured girth in good shape. Has elastic on 1 side, NO roller buckles, NO pitting/rust (nice silver buckles), great triple elastic, all stitching appears tight. Only things to mention are a black looking mark on the INSIDE of the girth where the belly is (was hanging over something in my trailer) and "Icey" written in black marker on the inside of the elastic (almost faded anyway). Besides that it is in nice shape with just "regular" use. Was not even used that much because I only had the matching saddle for a couple months and forgot to sell the girth. Like I said before- no use for this big a girth and need the money. Retail ~$70 so will take $35 or best offer.
3) Western Partrade "Francois Gauthier Reining Colection" Lami-Cell tan suede/duraleather which is a tough composite syntheic material which is more durable than leather made for every use, everyday. Extra thin close contact pad with shock absorbing memory foam. Provides a cushioned support surface over the entire saddle tree area. Tough Nu-buck surface with non-slip washable bottom. Its extra thin shaped design combined with maxium shock absorbing foams make this pad a non-slip more comfortable pad for both horse and rider. One of the best features is that it is easy to care for, just wipe it off. Retails for $140. It is too long for my 5yo (was ordered online and did not feel like sending back). Only tried on my mare then put back in the plastic bag. Still has tags attached. Asking $75.
Here is a review why I liked the pad; http://www.horsetackreview.com/review-display/7798.html
The first person to buy something and wants it can have a free horse sized plain raised havana colored standing martingale with rubber ring (don't know the brand). The reason it's free is because it has chew marks on one part and the leather where the buckle adjust the length from nose to girth is getting thin (I was still using it for schooling until last week when I found another one in the trailer). Don't feel right selling it so will give it to someone that buys something (the rubber ring is worth that?).
Have other items and will continue to list them. Let me know if you are looking for anything and I may have it for sale. If you have any questions please call my cell 804-641-7677. I can take measurements or pictures of anything you would like. You pay for shipping or can pick up at my house in Chesterfield, Va |
